Surface Preparation:

New Wood: Treat knots with a knot sealer. Prime any metal components, such as nail heads, with RP4.

Previously Painted Wood: Ensure surfaces are sound. Remove any loose or flaking paint. Avoid applying over existing paint.

General Preparation: All surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from grease and oils. Pay special attention to painting the end grain to prevent moisture penetration.

Application: Ready to use. Apply one coat with a brush to ensure proper wetting and penetration into the wood. Clean tools with mineral turpentine after use.

Overcoating: After applying the Pink Wood Primer, overcoat with Universal Undercoat before applying the topcoat.
